Data Retention

Project Information:

Because we provide ongoing hosting services, we retain your project files, website content, and related information indefinitely while you remain a client. This ensures we can provide support, maintenance, and recover your site if needed.

After You're No Longer a Client:

If you cancel hosting services or our relationship ends, we will:

  • Retain your information for a reasonable period for business records and legal purposes
  • Delete your information upon request, unless we're required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes
  • Provide you with a final backup of your website content

Contact Form Inquiries:

We retain contact form submissions and email correspondence for our business records. If you do not become a client, we may retain your inquiry for up to 2 years.

To Request Deletion:

You may request deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@mammothdigital.systems. We will respond within 30 days.


Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

  • Regular backups stored securely in Google Workspace
  • Encrypted communication (SSL/TLS)

  • Secure payment processing through Wave Apps (we do not store complete payment card information)

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Website Backups

Client Website Backups:

  • Your website is automatically backed up by our hosting providers (Webstudio, InstaWP, or similar platforms)
  • We may maintain additional "off-site" backups in our Google Workspace account for disaster recovery
  • Backups may contain your website content, design files, and configuration
  • Backups are stored securely and accessed only when needed for recovery or support

Cookies

Our website does NOT use cookies for tracking or analytics.

Umami Analytics is completely cookieless and does not require cookie consent.

If you fill out a contact form, your browser may temporarily store the form data locally until submission, but this is browser functionality, not cookies set by us.
